Student teacher ratio is 6.1 we want all participants to feel comfortable in the water and to increase their swimming ability.
Lesson cost is $65 for 8 30minute lessons. We know summer schedules are busy so you have the option to pick which days you'd like and how often you'd like to come. That means they can be one day a week, twice a week or three times a week. No group lessons are offered on Fridays.
Please fill out our registration form in advance so we can place your child in the appropriate lesson.
Level 1
Learning to be comfortable in the water.
Safely entering and exiting the pool.
Blowing bubbles
Floats on front and back with support
Doing bobs (dunks)
At the end of class will have a few min of play time.
Level 2
Float on front without support for 5sec. Float on back without support for 5sec. Swim on front 5yds without assistance. Swim on back 5yds without assistance.
Learning how to do streamline glides.
Animal jumps at the end of class
Level 3
Successful completion of level 2 is required. Students must be able to swim half of the pool length independently.
Continued stroke development.
Students will also begin swimming in the deep end and learn to jump, dive and tread water.
Students will be able to swim the full length of the pool upon completion of this level.
Level 4
*must pass level 3 to register
Continued stroke development with the introduction of side stroke, breast stroke, and fly.
Students will also learn how to dive off the competitive blocks.
Level 5
*Must pass level 4 to register
This group is our fast track to swim team. In this group we will continue stroke development and learn how to put all the strokes together.
Private lessons are available by appointment only please schedule those through Tracie Evenson at tracie@courtsideaquatic.com Private lessons are $35 for 30min. Private lessons with Coach Caleb are $70 for an hour lesson.
Lap swim is available from noon until 1pm two lanes will be reserved for STSC members during this time. If more lane space is needed the Courtside Aquatic staff will open up an additional lane.
